Description

During the late 1960s, Johnny started doing private commission paintings for fans all over the United States. Like most professional artists, Johnny was in the habit of working up several preliminary pencil drawings (some inked and some in color) for the private or commercial projects he was working on. During the 1970s to 1990s Johnny turned out quite a few VAULT KEEPER, DRUSILLA and other EC GHOULUNATIC paintings and horror and fantasy-related works of art for fans, but held onto most of the preliminary renderings.
