Description

Donald Duck Framed Display with Items from the Clarence Nash Estate (Walt Disney, c. 1970s-80s). Clarence "Ducky" Nash (1904 - 1985) was the cartoon voice of Donald Duck from 1934's The Wise Little Hen (Donald's first appearance) to the 1984 television special Donald Duck's 50th Birthday. It was Nash's distinctive and unique way of speaking for Donald that contributed to the characters immense popularity. Here's a cool framed display with three items that came from the Clarence Nash estate: a Good Housekeeping page from 1938, "The Delivery Boy" (as seen in the book Walt Disney's Mickey and the Gang on page 155); a large 1930s-era newspaper clipping of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck playing football; and with a copy of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories V.27#3 (#315), with the cover hand-signed by Mr. Nash. The items are held in a glass-front frame that measures approximately 31" x 15", and are in overall Good to Very Good condition with handling and age-related paper toning on the clipping.
