Description

Inspired by F M�s �Doodle Week�, I wanted to assemble a similar assortment of con sketch confectionery, delicious doodles, and candied commissions to celebrate the holiday season here on CAF�. Sort of a festive, goody-laden, OA Advent calendar�. The 2022 ART-VENT CALENDAR!

Day 3 (part 2): Never mind the Four Horsemen, here�s a cool portrait of one of the REAL big-bads of the glorious Dragotta / Hickman apocalypse: �East of West�. Sharpie sketch on the front endpapers of the �East of West - The Apocalypse: Year Two� hardcover at Rose City Comic Con 2017. Thank you, Nick!

Wow, you might possibly be the only person in this hobby who, when asked by the artist, "Which character would you like, the Crow?", answered "Archibald Chamberlain!" . 😜

ROTFL! I left it up to Nick - went with Artist's choice (as I was grateful for any sketch at all, frankly) and while I was certainly _hoping_ for Crow or Wolf or Death, I was very happy to go home with ol' Archie (especially when he had been kind enough to do the Babylon DPS prior to this one. :) ).

If we do, I'm sure that I'll miss Dragotta
Never gonna stop, beat him up
Such a wacky fact, he's always in the sketch
