DescriptionScully and Muller actually see a UFO in the first issue ... or top they? When I picked this up, the X-Files were still the hottest thing on TV, and Topps had made quite the splash with the comic books ... especially the mixed media covers by Milan Kim!Social/Sharing |

Those Miram Kim collage like paintings were spooky and had the likenesses down. It allowed Charlie Adlard to focus more on storytelling within with the heavy mood. Extremely cool page from the first issue that established that format with some nice staples of the show on this page. The UFO, the look of disbelief on Scully, and the stark contrasts of black and white.

The comics were less shy about letting Scully see the phenomenon, giving you this great scene of the partners bonding and their quest becoming mutual, rather than just Mulder's.
