DescriptionI owned the original art to this cover long ago and sold it to buy a hand colored Russell piece plus a Spirit page by Eisner. I had some regrets of course and when Craig was doing a crowdfunder I reached out to see if he would do a recreation of the cover for me. He went one better and did this stunning full color reimagining of the image using the same focal point of Spider-Man and Scarlet Witch, but adding far more details and expanding the background in a square format. The colors are superb as well-just a total home run in every way.Social/Sharing |

Magic and fantasy brought into the superhero world unlike anyone else with the PCR touch for a feel that is outside of place and time.

Recreations are not usually my thing but this one is just beautiful. He's such a master artist.

So you're the one! Saw the video of PCR working on this piece and wondered which lucky collector was able to convince him to revisit this image--and who would benefit from his incredible re-imagining of it! So many details, such perfect composition, all those classic little PCR touches. And stunning color! UGH. Too good. JEALOUS congrats!
