Well, I tried to make it splash page, but I got so damn obsessed
That I set my sights on Jim Janes and I got myself the best
I ain't ready for the inker, but I do agree there's times
When Dell Barras sure can ink a Legion line
Well, I keep on thinkin' 'bout you
Super Legionnaire surprise
And I just can't live without you
Can't you see it in the size?
I've been in poor cash department
And art's been too, too hard to find
But it doesn't mean you ain't been on my mind
Will you meet me in the middle?
Can I pay you in next year?
Before all the prices triple?
Just enough to show you care?
Well, I tried to buy it
I don't mind biddin', I just can't take it

When the second guitar kicks in with that classic riff at the beginning, sweet classic childhood goodness. Excellent rewrite, my friend!

This is a fantastic Legion piece - truly cover worthy. I can't imagine why DC didn't use it.

Yes, I concur. Really great looking. I especially like the Barras rendering.
