Description

Steven Thomas' cartooning, especially the facial acting, really moves me. As you can see from the opening pages of Children of the Fallen, some really tragic stuff is already happening--angsty vampires are a perfect fit for his his sensibilities and style. I'm excited to see where this story goes and happy to have snagged a page from the Kickstarter.

The children's faces throw you for a loop as we are used to seeing a more mature look for vampires. The inkwork is very strong for the way the hair fallsto reveal those faces full of lament.
