Description

Back in the mid 1990's I was an artist for a large t-shirt company that was producing a lot of Looney Tunes t-shirts. Our best-selling characters were Taz, Bugs Bunny and Tweety. My boss and the Vice President of Licensing for Warner Bros approached the art dept and asked who the next best-selling characters would be from their secondary line of characters. I always had a love for secondary characters over the primary ones so it was a no brainer for me to answer. In order I listed Marvin the Martian, Gossamer the Hairy Monster, Michigan J Frog, Baby Finster, and the Gremlin. The first 3 I submitted went on to sell tremendously well, especially Marvin.
I was just happy to finally see these characters I loved being mass produced on product finally! Going back to my cartoon designs I present Gossamer, such an Interesting Monster!
8 1/2" x 11" on cougar paper. colored with Prismacolor markers and Prismacolor pencils.
