Description

Finally an example from this fun, cold war strip. Lots of nice tech backgrounds as only Wood could do. My scanner tends to bleach some of the color of paper and so I have included a photograph of the piece in additions images. This exaggerates the browning of the paper so the real color lies somewhere in the middle. This piece was part of a large local collection I bought recently.

Wood's slick contributions really smoothed out Kirby's sharper angled and cartoonier style, giving him the most realistic look his work ever had. Even the background tech looks more realistic. I've always been a huge fan of this artistic combo and would've loved to have seen what the Fantast Four might've looked like if they'd both worked on that title for a spell. Beautiful daily, congrats!
