Description

30�x40� (framed 34�x44�) Painted in 1993 for the cover of the Robert Silverberg novel published in 1994. I purchased it from Michael in 1997. Later, Michael found some manuscript pages and very preliminary sketches that showed the genesis of the painting. Interestingly, neither Michael or Robert, who I met years later, wanted this version for the cover. Maybe that is why only half the painting was used for the cover.
