nice page featuring a young Teth Adam appearing before the wizard. love the second panel featuring a man on a flying carpet over the city heading toward the palace. Gary frank really did a nice job on this back up shazam feature in the Justice league book. he captures the withered look of the Wizard on his throne.

Gary Frank is doing his best work in his career at this point! The center panel is so emotionally effective with Adam's shadow trying to reach out and the man's shadow already being pulled into the last panel where he dies.

good point. the young adam still had hope things would be better no matter the conditions they live in until it claimed a family member. then the darkness starts to creep into his soul. seeking revenge.

Frank is such a brilliant artist, he can draw anything and make it look interesting. My favourite part here is the inclusion of Aladdin in the second panel!
