Description

An odd little hand-written text piece found in one of Cynthia Martin's notebooks I picked up not long ago. It appears to be "what if" concerning Han Solo dying at the Battle of Endor. Not sure if the last page is meant to be a part of it, but it only made sense to add it in here.

Very cool. It seems Ms. Martin had some great story ideas that never came to fruition within the confines of the Lucasfilm timelines and canon of the day. I have some rough layouts in my gallery for a seemingly similar storyline that ultimately may have been only for her own creative enjoyment. I would be thrilled for Marvel to offer her the chance to come back and pen a "What If" series that would feature her vision of Star Wars picking up at the end of Return of the Jedi.
