The Five Years Later Legion.

The Khunds have been invading and conquering the worlds of the United Planets with little resistance.
The United Planets has enlisted the help of the Legionnaires to join the war against the Khunds.
On Venegar, the Khunds attack the Legion headquarters and Laurel Gand is on the frontline trying to repel them.

As far as I can tell, this is Brandon first published comic issue. The on sale date was December 1990.

Khund invasions were your favorite
Miss Gand, she demon destroy us all
Peterson draws art like he was famous
Over run their jungle world where we were goin'

Now, Khund invasion, I just sleep in
With Tom and Mary, my faith's with you
It's Giffen and Beirbaums, I don't know if ink mist Garzon
'Cause I don't know what Laurel can do

I'm still holdin' on to everything that Brandon's drawn
I don't wanna say goodbye, 'cause Legion's Five Years Later
Now you're in the art and the fleet's never Venegar
Here I am alone between the heavens, Andromeda

Oh, it hurts so hard
For a million different Legions
You took the best of the art
And left the rest art pieces

At first, I thought "Wow, what's Fire from Justice League International doing in a Legion comic?". Little did I know Laurel Gand is that badass chick!
