Description

Fantastic page from (I think) Reed's only story done for the Vampirella title. I know he did quite a few for Creepy and Eerie...(would love to get some!!!!!).
I got outbid at Heritage for two other pages from this tale. Those pages actually went for sale before I landed this gem. Turns out, all three of these pages were owned by a single source, and he kept this page because he felt it was the best of the three. I personally feel it was as good as one of the pages I missed---and better than the other....but that's entirely up to the individual. It did cost more than either of the other two; but that's life!

I remember this story. Crandall's artwork gave it a very realistic feel. Great page! Congratulations.

It's rare that I'll buy a single page from any story. But Reed's early Warren stories are so amazing (and expensive!). Plus, other than one EXTREMELY overpriced Crandall story for sale, where could you find a complete Warren story by him???

I don't know how the other two pages look, but this one is just great. And I love that middle panel!

Check on Heritage's past sales. One page is very nice. Actually both are done in a masterful way. It is a short story so important elements are on every page. But the page with the wolf in the top panel is stunning!
