Welcome to the Inkwell Awards' JOE SINNOTT LEGACY INKING CHALLENGE! Last year's "Tribute" Challenge was in honor of Joe's passing, a memorial to him for his extraordinary career and life. The ongoing "Legacy" Challenge will also consist of art partners (and friends in many cases) Joe worked beside on various runs at Marvel. In this case, Alex & Joe had a long collaboration alongside Stan Lee on the Amazing Spider-man strip so he wanted to draw a Spider-man & MaryJane image.

This 13"x20" page image is on 2-ply board referred to the exclusive blueline (printed) pencil art by legendary artist and long-time Marvel's Web of Spider-man artist ALEX SAVIUK and it was hand-inked digitally by artist NOAH BARRETT and printed up as an Artist Proof and limited to 1 / 1 version, then signed by both artists and donated to the non-profit Inkwell Awards. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, authorized and signed by Inkwells' director Bob Almond. This AP print will not be reproduced by the artist or the Inkwells for a later offer...it's the only one to exist as labeled on the board and COA. NOTE: All have a small copyright disclaimer printed underneath the image. The blueline pencils are NOT included. The CoA image file of the page backside shown represents an example of the rest with slight changes like the inker name.

Artwork has been hand-signed by both artists. The scans were made before being signed by Alex or the inker on the bottom signature lines.. These are low-resolution scans that do not showcase the actual high quality of the artwork.

NOTE: All have a small copyright disclaimer printed underneath the image. The blueline pencils are NOT included. The CoA image file of the page backside shown represents an example of the rest with slight changes like the inker name.
