DescriptionThe end of the story where the naval vessels get saved, the Russian gangsters disgraced and Hubert is left with grateful thanks from Pearl, for not shopping her, while he muses on the dilemma of any ensuing investigation discovering that he has maybe slept with a minor ('in the line of duty' of course) - life in the raw for such dynamic heroes!Perhaps the last words on this should be the repeated phrase of his co-star, Luce-Anne, in the start and end pages of the 'Bangkok' novel (attached): 'Sale type ... sale type' - 'Dirty guy ... dirty guy ...' leading to the profundity that these are the kind of people that are necessary to get dirty work done for others with more qualms and less skill (us) - comics or not.
