DescriptionMarvel: July 1963The Marvel Universe continued to take shape in July of 1963 with the first appearances of the Uncanny X-Men and the Avengers 60 years ago. While I do not have any X pages from that Silver Age of collecting, I do have some modern X pages to post this week. The recently resurrected John Proudstar has returned to a world completely different from the one he once knew. Looking to find refuge in the familiar, Thunderbird seeks out someone from his past at an Apache reservation, and uncovers a horrifying threat to the Indigenous mutant community. Will Thunderbird be able to save his people? Or will his justified rage lead him astray? This page from the climax of the story finds Thunderbird and his grandma have beat the bad guy and send him packing. Based on the chopper overhead, more details tonight on the Channel 6 news. Poggi inks over Cutler blue lines. Social/Sharing |

After seeing the first cut running time, uncle George dropped the subplot with the brawl at the Dagobah reservation police station. Hoping some day it pops up on a Blue Ray release.

Remember when Thunderbird 1 was killed and you said he was never in comics in the first place? Then why did I have the Poggi, Bart? Er, Marcus. Why did I have the Poggi?
