DescriptionWholesome Superman is the best Superman. You know? When he is fighting for good, when he is protecting those in danger, or those close to him, when he is making a choice to do something tough not because it is the only choice but because it is the right thing to do.It's actually quite refreshing to see it done so well in an 8 page snippet of a story. It got me thinking that I would buy the sh*t out of more collections like this that build character over time. EC did it in plenty of runs, 2000AD did it (Future Shocks, etc), Kaboom did it with Sugary Shorts. I might go back and finish Batman Black & White, stopped reading it after the first volume, maybe pick up Wonder Woman Black and Gold. So much still to read, so little time. Paul's rendition of The Last Sun so so damn good! Social/Sharing |
