Description

It's 2016, an election year! Time to hold my nose and vote for the lesser evil. Unless Loki is running, in which case, why not vote for the greater evil? Langdon Foss is the perfect artist for light satire in which Loki discovers that he doesn't even have to blow stuff up to conquer the world. We get a news report about him followed by a foreboding establishing shot of Latveria. Note the cool switchback road ascending the hill to Doom's castle. The buildings in the foreground, though lovingly rendered, are a bit ramshackle.

The art sneaks up on you with a cartoony style that you'd have to look twice if you wanted to catch all the dense linework. Clean and meticulous to keep the pristine fairytale dreamlike storytelling illusion of Loki!
