the final chase of the first film. just an incredible effort. the attention to detail blows my mind. from the bracelet, the tie design to the blazing sun and good lord the mask...its all there. it makes me smile knowing the care that has been put into these commissions.

His take on IG:

This LEATHERFACE commission was a real treat. Texas Chainsaw Massacre was one of the first horror movies to put a cold knot in my stomach when I was a kid. That scene where Leatherface grabs the girl and slams that big steel door shut— it just had this sense of harsh finality to it that elicited a visceral kind of upset in me that became what I crave most in horror movies as an adult.

The blood staining on the chainsaw and the tie underneath that hot Texas sun makes your stomach turn as it conjures up the butcher shop smell.
