Description

I bought this Original Cover Pencils from Dave Dorman during DaveCon 2022, a sale he was hosting on his website and Facebook,on October 13th, 2022. This Pencils OA size is 11x17". Dave oftentimes will add color to lightsabers & laser blasts on his pencil drawings. I asked if he would do the same for this Vader Down piece, which he agreed to (and didn't raisethe price either). The paper isn't thick enough to hold paint or markers, so he ended up using colored pencils! If you look close, Mr. Dorman actually added some white to each of the laser blasts too!

It took a few months to get done, but I'm so glad it finally did! It was definitely worth the wait! Dave Dorman did so many Star Wars covers in the 90's. I'm so happy to finally own a piece of Published Star Wars OA!

Is Vader using the Force to deflect that cannon shot? That is an awesome detail! Big congrats.
