Description

The Hulk is hanging out here with Janis Jones, Rick Jones's granddaughter from the Future Imperfect mini-series. Although there's technically not much happening here, it's still beautifully drawn by Deodato and Wegrzyn. Check out the tree trunk in the first panel as well as the great character images.

It is a quiet page, but it gives a chance for Deodato to draw some beautiful things of nature including Janis.

I really like the nice, quiet moments. There doesn't always have to be punching, flying and blasting on a page, does there? Frankly I find that all a bit tedious and boring when a collection of pages is made up of nothing but that. In this case, it also allows Deodato the opportunity to flex different artistic muscles by bringing a bit of humanity to the monster.
