Description

I was asked to a piece featuring Batgirl by a friend and long time supporter of my work. I was racking my brain trying to get a unique angle on the piece. I always wanted to draw Man-Bat. The idea of his arm around her, almost like he's trying to protect her was my hook. She has an expression of defiance, like she doesn't need him. Maybe they need each other and don't want to admit it. Sometimes relationships are that way, right?
