As described by Jason Waltrip:

�The Robotech World Books were all drawn on Duotone board, a special type of Bristol board with two built-in gray tones made visible by two liquid developers when brushed onto its surface.�

Very pretty work using the duo tone to create depth in scenes of canyons and landscapes. It really added a lot to the final product because the flat colors Comico used could not have achieved the final look on their own.
