Description

In 1988, Comico had decided to cancel the Jonny Quest series. Probably due to low sales or maybe the cost of licencing? Or maybe even the parent company wasn't able to keep it alive. But whatever...I think I've read (yeah, I'm running on very minimal research on this write-up and I'm sorry if you are one of the 10 or so that actually read the descriptions like I do) that they had already the art for another book so they called it a SPECIAL.

The book didn't have any ads and THIS page was one of FIVE pinups at the back of the book. I know it is dubious for me to say that this has always been my favorite...but I really mean it DANG IT! All five were really fabulous and great and in line with the characters. But FRENZ/BLYBERG really nailed it here in my opinion.

Love the page and love that it is part of my collection.

Fourteen views as I write this, so I'm the one who read the description. Odds are about the same in how this comic was distributed and put out there for people to pick up. Really cool though in how the composition is an A with Jonny right in the middle and at the of action!
