Where's Talok VIII when I turn the page
Comic magazine, we've hardly seen
Secrets we used to know
The origins, that Mandrake shows
Like the times we've had
It's Shadow Lass

Whatever happened to old Legion love
The kind that would see you through
The kind of love Tasmia and Miki knew
Yeah, whatever happened to all Legion love
The kind that would last through the years
Through her trials
Through art styles
Through the fears

Ooh la la, Tasmia is suddenly all grown up! It's not mentioned on this page, but if she has already been going by Shadow Lass at this point, don't you find it's at least a bit odd, given that she still hasn't met the Legion at this point of the story and those "Lass/Lad" names are typically adopted once they become Legionnaires? It just doesn't seem realistic to think she'd give herself that name, or any code name for that matter, when she's still just a "protector" of her country and people and not a "superhero" yet. And yes, I know I probably think about the minutae a bit too much! 😜

n the time of the Legion, it appears it was quite common for heroes of various worlds to name themselves as -Boy, -Girl, -Lad, -Lass etc. even if they were not affiliated or influenced by the Legion. Consisder the heroes of Lallor - Beast Boy, Duplicate Boy' Evolvo Lad' Gas Girl and Life Lass.

Also she first  in Adventure Comics 365 and in the next issue, she stated that she had always dreamed of becoming a Legionnaire.

Ah yes, I forgot that she had already been around for a long time and wasn't even aware that she had already had knowledge of and aspired to be one of the Legion by the time she made her 2nd appearance. I also forgot that this story happened decades after she had already been appearing in comics and is just a way to backfill her origin with more depth. Thanks as always for your scholarship.
