DescriptionThe painting depicts a scene from World War II showing a British parachutist landing and firing his machine gun.This is the original painted art used on the cover of War Picture Library #263 "Nothing to Lose" published by Fleetway Publications in October 1964. The art was used again on Battle Picture Library cover #620 and #1630. The art was used also in Italy for Super Eroica #42 and Collezione Guerra #47. Social/Sharing |

Confesso che non conoscevo questo artista, il cui stile mi ricorda un po' il quasi coetaneo e collega Aldo Di Gennaro, ma anche i grandi "cartellonisti" italiani degli anni '60. Complimenti per questa spettacolare cover pluripubblicata!

Great wartime imagery! It has the solo figure in intense fighting and his white parachute basically paints a target on him, so he desparately needs to kill them fast to survive.
