Description

From the fourth season Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Fred Wolf Films) episode "Michelangelo Meets Bugman," where Michelangelo meets his comic book hero in real-life! Here's a nicely framed capture of April O'Neil being held hostage by the villainous Electrozapper shortly before Brick "Bugman" Bradley buzzes in to save her!

This is a hand-painted painted acetate cel layered over background print. In this case, the supplied background matches the one seen in the finished episode! These cels were sold framed in mats and protective plastic sleeves at various toy and department stores throughout the early 1990s under the "Animation Art" label. This cel was scanned without the plastic seal, providing greater image clarity. Also attached is a screencap from the VUDU digital copy showing the approximate cel in its final form at around the 21 minute, 14 second mark.

These one off villains are really fun! This has a comic book design with an Electro with a cape look and powers, but Bugman has more of a Sectaurs look.
