DescriptionThis is not the nineteenth century portrait artist John Francis, but a late twentieth century artist of the same name. I can't find any details about him or determine that these round paintings ever became a Franklin Mint plate series, as round works like this often did. They are 6.75 inches each. I split the works across two CAF entries. I put this bird on the front in hopes of a more firm identification; it looks like something in the quail family.Social/Sharing |
