Description

The Little Mermaid TV Series "Ariel's Treasures" Ursula Production Cel Scene and Animation Drawing Display (Walt Disney, 1994). Evil sea witch Ursula cooks up an "explosive" magic potion aimed at casting a spell on Ariel's "human things" collection, in this original hand-painted 2-cel production scene. "Ariel's Treasures" was the next-to-last episode aired (and last to be filmed); it was first shown on 10/29/94. Ursula's figure size is approximately 6.25" x 8"; the cel includes a Walt Disney Television Original Animation Art seal in the lower right. Check out those fine-line air bubbles! The scene-matched background is a print, added for presentation purposes. Matted with the cel is the original matching animation drawing of Ursula (minus the smoke ring, which would be on a separate drawing); it's done in graphite and blue pencil and also includes a Disney Television seal. The mat openings measure 11.5" x 8.75", in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 31.5" x 17".A Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on back of the frame. The cel is in Fine condition with light handling; the drawing appears very flat and clean but does have some age-related paper toning.
