Description

Ray Nicholson Micky Maus Magazin #49 Donald Duck and Bruce the Shark Cover Illustration Original Art with Magazine Group (Walt Disney/Presse, 2003). Wak! Diver Donald is about to explore a "cave" that isn't what he's expecting, in this original cover art for the German Mickey Mouse magazine. This issue highlighted the release of Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo, which featured this hungry-looking shark named Bruce; I have a copy of the magazine with the art. The artwork has been inked with brushes over light graphite on 10.5" x 14.5" Bristol board, and matted with an opening of 10.5" x 12.5". The art is signed under the mat by Dutch cartoonist Ray Nicholson. Overall mat size is 15" x 17.25". In Fine condition with light handling.
