Description

I cribbed the Heritage Auctions description: John Constantine finds himself on tenterhooks on this fantastic cover by Kent Williams. Created in oil and signed in the upper right of the matted 19" x 29" image area. Glass front framed to 29" x 39". In Excellent condition.

My own feelings are a great deal more visceral. I felt much as I did when I saw Francis Bacon's work. Something unsettling began to churn in my guts, like eels in a small jar, racing around in hopes of freedom.

Yes, "unsettling" is the right word for it. Another word is "impressive".
