Description

orbid bit of my time collecting comic art is that on three occasions I decided to seek out an artist for a commission, and it was announced the next day they had died. Eduardo Barreto is one of those three.

Another bit of threes in my art collecting is that three times I’ve had the opportunity to pick up a great depiction of Nick Fury, but my inner nerd said “Dude, you know that’s an LMD of Fury. Don’t do it!”

Two of those LMD pages were by Barreto, and afterwards I chastised myself for not buying them. So when this page resurfaced on ComicLink there was no way I was letting anyone else get it.

Try not to notice how the frames of the Widow’s glasses change between panels. Just focus on the cigarette smoking LMD Fury goodness.

A shout out to Golden Apple Comics makes this page a little bit more unique! Super stylish spy pose by Fury in the brick alley! He's such a cool customer here that the rest of the panel is taken up just by his presence.
