DescriptionThis page was a circumstance of being in the right place, at the right time.I have had a page from Alex's run on GL, on my list to pick up for a while. Circumstance would have, I would miss picking on up for one reason or another. Fortunately, I was able to pick up this great page from Alex at Megacon last month. Great shot of Hal's rig.... in space. Not to mention, him retiring the oath. While the issue is credited as Dave Hunt, on inks- Alex says Frank Chiaramonei actually did the inks for the issue Social/Sharing |

Agree, this page has got so much going for it as a GL example! Prominent lantern shot, space flight, the oath...and by classic artist Alex Saviuk. Suh-WEET, indeed! Congrats, Jason!

A great page aesthetically speaking, but even greater due to it being an oath recital page. Oh, and I can't believe Alex stull has some of his art from this era!
