Description

Dynamic work from Yeates's first pro work! Together with Al Williamson, Carlos Garcon and Victor de la Fuentes.

Big bold panels detailing the classic Raymond "Cave Kingdom" storyline. While exploring the Cave Kingdom given to Flash Gordon by Ming.

As they explore deeper into the cave systems, they realize that �There�s nothing we can do but continue to see what they may find!� They hear a strange hum as Flash points out in a very Frazetta-esque pose, that it�s coming from up ahead. They come out onto an opening to a temple with a strange idol dedicated to �Tao.� As a priest comes attracting worshippers attention, announcing �Soon your faith shall be rewarded, Tao will show us the way!�

Apparently, the publisher thought the original altar design was too lurid and had it redrawn it appeared a bit different I've added the original pencils.

Space drama at it's finest!

Nice and dark spot ink placement to play into the cavernous feel and mysterious atmosphere in this den of cult worshippers!
