Tonight I'm posting two pieces I just got in, both from Strange Academy: Finals issue #4, and both by the fantastic Humberto Ramos!!!

This DPS is, in a word, insane --- in the best way possible! I absolutely LOVE it!

It's Finals Week at Strange Academy (Doctor Strange's School for Wannabe Sorcerers). Here we see Magik administering an exam to a bunch of students --- and that test is ...SURVIVE LIMBO!

Man oh man, this is the kind of crazy battle mayhem multi-multi-multi character scene that Humberto was made to draw.

Man, Ramos' art has sure come a long way since the days when I couldn't stand it. The linework on all the monsters here is exquisite and his rendition of Magic is truly fabulous as well. Splendid!

Man just love that slash literally cutting right through the middle of the DPS! Illyana's such a great design, including this more recent iteration, and Ramos has killed it on his renditions - case in point! Congrats!

Okay, I get it. Apparently, you are also shooting for 100 pieces by an artist. Good for you! It will be much more fun for me to just watch someone ELSE do it. At this point, I'm really too tired (and too broke) to do anything but watch. LOL! Congrats on this fine DPS my friend.

HA! I should have -known- where this beauty was going to end up! :) By far the recent DPS I spent the most time studying when I read the (terrific!) issue; so much detail and fantastic visual texture - what a stunner! Another killer post, Paul; sincere congrats on this sensational spread!
