Description

This is the May. Day 12. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...

Aboard the starship Star Herald, BB-00 "Boo" and CR-8R "Crater" are arguing over construction work. Space cartographer and droid owner Emil Graf tells them too cool it off even though Boo is hurling insults at Crater. Graf tells Boo that Crater was right and that he cannot be rude like that. Cooling off reminded him of a story that he had heard from Hoth.

CR-8R was built by Rhyssa Graf from a mash-up of different droid models, including the lower half of a Viper probe droid, the right arm of a 3PO-series protocol droid, the left arm of a load lifter droid, the barrel-shaped shell of an astromech droid, and the head of an antique Mark IV architect droid. This great droid design is what attracted me to this page, picked up from Tony at the 2023 Amazing Vegas con.

On the Herald Star, we climbed up to the top and

Wow, is this the the long rumoured crossover between Star Wars and To Kill a Mockingbird? I've been hearing about it for ages, but never imagined Harper Lee or her estate would allow it to happen. But I'll be damned if that dark haired kid isn't the young Boo Radley himself, being watched over by Salacious Crumb! Harper Lee might be turning over and break dancing in her grave right now, but I'm all about this x-over!

Nice page!!! I dig the look of that starship. Also it's interesting to learn more about the Graf family within the galaxy and get more backstory on them (the family plays a significant role in the High Republic novels too)
