Hama’s style is quite sketchy, but there is a lot of energy in his pencils that I always love; it’s his style - one that looks great even uninked. Torpedo :( He was my favourite action figure and I lost his flipper. Then he could only swim in circles. Lucky Cobra has horrible aim.

Hama's writing was what kept the series going for all these years. It was quite a treat to see that he drew anything for GI Joe since we had not seen art from him since his early days in the 70's.
