Description

18”x20” (frame 24”x27”) Painted in 1989; purchased in 2017. Cover for the Gwyneth Moore, Harlequin Regency mass market paperback book by the same name published in December 1989, of which I have a first edition copy. Also used on the Francesca Shaw large print, hardcover book, The Unconventional Miss Dane (Mills & Boon Historical, #576) published March 1997. Also used on the Nicola Cornick paperback Lady Polly (Historical Romance) published September 1999 by Mills & Boon. Also, according to an email from Bob, “This was a regency romance for Zebra books. Oil on illustration board done about 1982,” though I can’t find any evidence of that.
