DescriptionThis enigmatic image from the master of shadow and light, Luis Royo, entitled "Nine Tongues and One Tear", was featured in Royo's fantasy-themed art book, Malefic, on page 28. It is the study of the finished image on the following page and the cover of the book. This study would go on to inspire the sword to be featured in multiple paintings and was created as a real collectible sword offered by Heavy Metal Magazine for their 25th anniversary in a limited and numbered production of 3,000.Created using pure graphite on art paper with an image area of 5.5" x 8.5". It comes with a COA signed by Royo and Norma Editorial. Signed in the lower right of the image area. Toned and in Very Good condition. Social/Sharing |
