DescriptionThis extremely menacing, powerful image of Conan is beautifully illustrated by Keown. With all his foes fallen before him, he advances onto the next threat in full battle mode. The pose and fierce expression are pure Conan and the lines and inking are so clean.Social/Sharing |

I must say, I do get tired of always seeing nothing but Hulk pieces by Keown, so it's great to see him tackle someone completely different and it looks absolutely terrific!

Amazing work from the always incredible Dale Keown. I, unlike Reuben, never get tired of seeing his Hulk but Conan is fantastic as well :)

The shading on this artwork is superb. The linework used is spectacular.
Fantastic Keown example. Congratulations and thanks for sharing with us here on CAF!

BY CROM! I was surprised to see this fabulous cover of Conan the Barbarian drawn by Dale Keown! But why not, Keown's perfect for the job. Who knows better how to draw a brawny, muscular, powerful brute? Keown's knowledge of anatomy works well for Conan, he looks strong enough to take on any soldier, monster or sorcerer who wants to fight. And you can't argue with Keown's linework or his phenomenal skill with a brush. It's a no-brainer. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
