DescriptionThis cover is as good as it gets. John Byrne and Jerry Ordway, two of the greatest Superman artists of all time, creating a Christopher Reeve Superman movie adaptation cover featuring the Nuclear Man moon battle scene. The borders of the cover also feature many other key scenes from the film. Superman IV itself was not the greatest Superman movie and would ultimately end the Reeve franchise but definitely has it a cult following and things to love about it (Nuclear man). The story itself was written by Reeve as a way to bring him back to the franchise so you could technically say this comic was written by Chris Reeve himself, he even gets a story credit in the comic.Social/Sharing |

This is more grand of a presentation than the movie! It actually celebrates the best of the franchise as a whole and understands how to bring it to the fore with a great spirited design!

Congrats on this iconic cover !! Both artists at the top of their game ! This really makes me wish the movie looked a bit closer to this fanstastic piece !

Back in the 80's at my local shops, nobody I knew ever bought movie adaptations so the stores didn't order many copies. Still I always saw them hitthe stands because I was at the shop so often. This one however, my main shop must've not even bothered to order after seeing how bad the movie was, becauseit doesn't look familiar to me at all and I have no memory of Byrne & Ordway, my favourite penciller/inker combo on Fantastic Four, doing this! Really cool, man, great surprise to see!
