DescriptionDC Comics Presents was always a favorite in the 80s. As was Staton's Dr Fate. So even though the protagonist in this issue was the less than inspired El Muchacho, I remember this issue very fondly (in no small part to its amazing cover). This one page encapsulates pretty much the whole issue. Fate and the elf sparring and Supes under the magic thrall of Cpt Ezra Hawkins in an interdimensional hooha.Staton is aided by Colleta in this issue who seems to have mostly stayed let Joe be Joe. The action sequence of Fate at the top is worth the rpice of admission (even if there are not ankhs). The supes close up at the end is also a treat. Social/Sharing |
