Description

Hard to describe how much I loved getting these books off the rack. I was just the right age and the Saturday Morning Cartoon was the highlight of my weekend. Lots of great artists worked on the book but Fradon brought something special. You could tell she took the books ... not seriously exactly but as if they were a serious job. She put a lot of imagination into each issue she did.

Here, Aquaman and Zan save the day. This page is a continuation from my other and together, they present an almost full display of all of the Superfriends. Love that image of Aquaman in the last panel. Even back then, you didn't get to see him coming into the save the rest of the League.

Bought this during a Heritage auction in early 2023. By pure luck, it was a sequential page to one I already owned. Didn't even realize until about a week after the auction.

Thank you Zan... for breaking the ice! A fish on ice page too! Lots of appreciation goes to Fradon for bringing such great childhood memories.
