Description

Heroes Con 2023 was the time to finally add Jae Lee to my Hulk Friends, Foes, and Family Sketchbook. I asked him to choose from my list of remaining Hulk characters and his choice remained unrevealed until pickup (which I always find to be fun and exciting).

I never would have guessed that he would choose The Gremlin! To top it off, he put The Hulk, himself, in the background, smashing the terrain they're standing on, posing an immediate problem for the poor Gremlin!

This also led to a fun conversation about the difference between The Gremlin and The Gargoyle. For those who don't know, The Gremlin is The Gargoyle's son, hence why they essentially look identical.

So, The Gargoyle is still fair game for the book and they definitely won't look alike in this book, should someone choose to do him, because there's no one who can mimic the style of Jae Lee! I'm extremely excited to have such an impactful version of this classic Hulk villain in my book!

I like the veiny head and the wrinkles all around that fits right into how Jae Lee style works. He presents that hideousness with a lot of care in the presentation.
