DescriptionGen. Cracken and his droid catch Doctor Aphra up on the goings on since Magna stun blasted her in the face, artfully recapped by Wilton Santos’ pencils (printed blue lines) and Marc Deering's inks in that bottom panel. Love is grand! I have managed to acquire both the pencil and ink boards for this page. Sweet. I picked this one up from Marc at Heroes Con 2023 and recently realized I hadn't posted this one yet.Social/Sharing |

You can't shoot women in the face anymore. This must be from the 90s.

For a while, to love was all we could do
We were young Deering do, and our lines were alive
Deep ink lines we knew our love was Blue
For a while we paid no mind to the blast
We knew love would last
Every line somethin's right
Would invite us to Wilton by chance
Cracken happened to droid today
What used to be Chelli was sad
Somethin' happened along the face
And comic page was all we had
And oh, Aphra the love has gone
How could you read me on
And shot got me magna round?
Oh, Aphra the love has gone
What used to be right is wrong
Can love Santos be found

Unlike Jefferson Starship at least Earth, Wind & Fire did not get sucked into the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special.
