Description

"It's over," says Fermo in panel 4 of this action scene from the post-apocalyptic series about Brendon D'Arkness, who appears in the last panel, pointing the gun at Fermo, who is bleeding from the left shoulder after being attacked with scissors. The title means "In the heart of the darkness." Corrado Roi's fine line sets him apart from many of his colleagues in the fumetti industry. It reminds me of Gary Frank.

It's those inks that set him apart from his contemporaries. Line, shadows, and dark cottonball atmosphere creeps about always surrounding the violence like it infects the evil into action.
