Strong first image, it reminds me of a Romita Jr Superman inked by Janson with that rugged handsomness. Followed up by panels where he's breaking the sound barrier where that scratchy line serves to represent that explosion of power.

Whoa! Yeah, exactly! Modern day JR Jr./Janson is exactly what I see here and what March must've purposely been channeling!
