Description

This highly detailed preliminary is done on 11" x 17" sketch paper.

Mike had recently done a series of Deathstroke covers for DC comics and was mocking up cover sketches using a Deathstroke logo he photocopied onto the sketch paper. The piece of paper he used for this preliminary had an unused Deathstroke logo and Mike chose to use it for the preliminary of the cover of Enemy # 3.

Mike completed this piece in pencil and permanent marker.

Fantastic cover by Mike Zeck--And this is a prelim? Certainly looks pretty tight as far as I'm concerned. Great pick-up!
