Description

X-Force #19 completes the redemption of Quentin Quire, transforming Kid Omega from the "enfant terrible" of the X-Men into something better. Kid Omega faces down the darkest parts of himself, both in person and on the Astral Plane, as he teams with Phoebe Cuckoo, Domino, and Jean Grey to defeat his clone.

Today I'm posting pages 10 and 12, where Jean is teaching Quentin and Phoebe how to focus, navigate, and engage on the Astral Plane.

Gary Brown's art on this Kid Omega story arc is what grabbed my attention, and it is perfect for what ultimately unfolds as a psychological thriller.

Thanks to the fine folks at Cadence for the assist in getting an example of Gary's work for my X-folio.

Wow, some really nice organic stuff going on with the inks here and I have such a softt spot for this costume Jean is wearing!

The classic Jean costume is what caught my attention first, and then I looked at the inking. As you know, I've slowly been adding some affordable and nice looking modern X art that harkens some memories back to older periods of art now beyond my budget. So it was not a hard decision to make this issue and Gary's art my Marvel Girl costume example.
